“The thing I like about homeschooling is I have many scientific experiments that I can discover everyday with my parents and spend a lot of time with them. Generally, I love colors and like to paint various images. This is the reason for me to join in Nimmy’s art and it is the greatest milestone in my journey because Nimmy’s art is full of colorful images.”

What’s your favorite type of art medium to work with, like oil pastels, acrylic painting, watercolor, pencil, or sharpie? Why do you like it?

“Acrylic painting is close to my heart because of this thickness and ease to paint.”

It holds a special place in Akkshara’s heart; this medium allows her to express herself freely, bringing her artistic visions to life.

Can you share your favorite art you’ve done in Nimmy’s Art Class and what you enjoyed most about it?

“I love the thanksgiving painting, which was one of my first few paintings with Nimmy’s art. It’s the best as Nimmy had explained how to draw it easily.”

Among her many creations, Akkshara fondly recalls her Thanksgiving painting, one of her initial works with Nimmy.

Which art medium was the most challenging for you to learn? How did you overcome the challenges?

“I feel that watercolor was the hardest as I had to redraw them multiple times and I’m still working on it.”

Acknowledging that watercolor painting to be the most challenging medium, Akkshara highlights the perseverance required in redrawing multiple times. Yet, she remains determined to master this intricate art form.

Imagine you’re a famous artist teaching your own masterclass. What subject or theme would you choose for your class, and why do you think it would be exciting for other kids to learn about and paint?

“I will choose to paint earth using acrylic colors and it would be exciting because the colors are eternal.”

In a delightful twist, Akkshara envisions herself as a famous artist teaching a masterclass on painting the Earth using acrylic paints. Her reasoning? The eternal beauty of the colors would captivate young minds.

Do you ever get to show your artwork to your family or friends? What do they say about it?

“Yes, each time I do it. They compliment that it is wonderful and request me to frame each and every painting and open an art gallery of my own.”

Akkshara proudly showcases her artwork to family and friends, who shower her with compliments. Their encouragement surely fuels her passion!

What advice do you have for other young artists who are just starting their artistic journey?

“Please don’t get frustrated if you make a mistake. It takes time to learn something new.”

Her wisdom echoes the universal truth that growth comes with patience and perseverance.

What are your future goals in art?

“My goal is to save earth and represent that in every art work I paint in future.”

Akkshara’s future goals in art extend beyond personal achievement. Her ambition is to use her artistic prowess to save the Earth, weaving her mission into every brushstroke and canvas.
