Meet Sarthak, a curious and imaginative 7-year-old young artists who loves exploring the world through drawing and painting. Whether he is creating colorful scenes, experimenting with new shapes, or dreaming up exciting adventures, Sarthak approaches every project with enthusiasm and originality. Beyond art, he enjoys music, reading, puzzles, languages, and discovering new things every day.

Sarthak stands smiling in front of a wall filled with his colorful artwork, featuring drawings of animals, landscapes, nature, fantasy scenes, and creative illustrations that showcase his imagination and artistic growth at Nimmy's Art.

For Sarthak, art is more than colors and paper, it is a place where he can create his own world and bring his imagination to life. His creativity, curiosity, and love for learning make him a thoughtful young artist both inside and outside the classroom.

What age are you interested in making art?

“I started drawing when I was six years old. My very first drawing was of my favorite firefighter playing with water. The firefighter looked a little confused, and the hose was very short, which made it funny. I showed it to my mom, and she encouraged me to keep improving and enjoying art. She also asked me to explain my drawing, which helped me think more deeply about my ideas.”

From his very first drawing, Sarthak showed a natural talent for storytelling through art. His ability to create characters and scenes filled with humor and personality continues to shape his artistic journey.

What makes you excited the most in art class?

“I get excited when I share my drawings with everyone and hear my teacher say, “Very good job.” I enjoy seeing myself learning alongside other students in class. It’s fun to raise my hand, ask questions, and participate in discussions. I also enjoy saying goodbye to everyone at the end of class.”

Sarthak, a young artist, proudly holds his oil pastel painting titled “Cute Froggy.” The artwork features a cheerful green frog wearing a crown and sitting on a lily pad surrounded by bright blue water, blooming water lilies, and a peaceful pond landscape. With vibrant colors and playful details, the painting captures the charm of nature and showcases Sarthak’s creativity and growing artistic skills.

Creative young artist Sarthak enjoys both the creative and social aspects of learning. Sharing ideas, participating in class discussions, and connecting with classmates help make every online art class a meaningful experience.

If you could add one magical thing to your artwork, what would it be?

“If I could add one magical thing to my artwork, I would bring Agnes to life as my sister. We would go on exciting adventures together while searching for a unicorn. We would travel through magical lands, solve mysteries, and discover amazing things along the way.”

One thing we love about Sarthak is his imaginative spirit. His creative ideas reflect strong storytelling skills, curiosity, and a kind heart.

What do you do when something is hard in your art project?

“When something feels difficult, I don’t give up. I look at my friends’ work, take my time, and ask Ms. Nimmy for help. She is very kind and always explains things clearly. She helps us solve problems and even shows us how to fix mistakes when things don’t go as planned.”

Sarthak, a young artist, proudly holds his oil pastel painting titled “Goldfish in a Bag.” The artwork features a bright orange goldfish swimming inside a clear water-filled bag, with shades of blue and reflective details that create a playful and realistic underwater effect.

Sarthak’s determination and positive attitude show that learning is an important part of the creative process. His willingness to ask questions and keep trying helps him continue to grow as an aspiring artist.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

“I want to be a doctor when I grow up. If I change my mind someday, I’ll let you know!”

Like many creative young minds, Sarthak is still exploring his future dreams. His curiosity, dedication, and enthusiasm for learning will serve him well no matter which path he chooses.

Which art materials do you enjoy using the most? (Watercolor, Gouache, Prismacolor, Pencil Drawing)

“I like oil pastels the best. The colors are bright, vibrant, and easy to blend. I can change shades using my fingers and mix colors together in different ways. If I make a mistake, I can often turn it into something even more interesting. The best part is that I don’t have to wait for it to dry.”

Sarthak, a young artist, proudly holds his oil pastel painting titled “Colors of Nature.” The artwork features a bright rainbow stretching across the sky above a colorful landscape filled with green fields, blooming flowers, fluffy clouds, and trees, celebrating the beauty of the natural world.

What was your favorite project or lesson, and why?

“My favorite project was the Halloween Art Contest. I spent extra time and effort creating my artwork because I was so excited about it. After finishing, I proudly shared it with my classmates at school and even included it in a school timeline project. It became one of my favorite memories.”

This memorable project highlights Sarthak’s enthusiasm, dedication, and pride in sharing his creativity with others.

What skills did you learn from Summer Art Camp that helped you draw better?

“The skills I learned from Summer Art Camp that helped me draw better were making shadows and drawing folds in paper using white color. I also learned that art is like cooking yummy food, just like my mommy says. The more you prepare, practice, and pay attention, the yummier it gets!”

Sarthak, a young artist, proudly holds his oil pastel painting titled “3D Pumpkin.” The artwork features a bright orange pumpkin with realistic shading and highlights, creating a three-dimensional effect that makes the pumpkin appear to pop off the page.

Sarthak, a young artist, proudly holds his oil pastel painting titled “Colorful Birthday Hat.” The artwork features a festive party hat decorated with bright rainbow-colored stripes and playful details, creating a cheerful and celebratory design.

Sarthak’s comparison between art and cooking reflects his thoughtful approach to learning. He understands that great results come from patience, practice, and creativity.

What’s your tip for someone who feels shy about sharing their art?

“My tip is to share your artwork little by little. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Progress is more natural than perfection. The more you share, the more confident you will become.”

Sarthak, a young artist, proudly holds his acrylic painting titled “Mermaid’s Castle.” The artwork features a magical underwater castle surrounded by colorful fish, ocean plants, seashells, and a friendly mermaid, creating a whimsical scene beneath the sea.

This is wonderful advice. Sharing art takes courage, and every artist grows more confident by taking small steps and celebrating progress along the way.
